Melville Cricket Club are hosting ‘Super Thursdays' at Tompkins Park for females to get involved in cricket in a fun atmosphere.

The six-a-side and eight-a-side concept has commenced on Thursday afternoons and runs every until December 18.

14 years and under players will play six-a-side and are urged to come from 4:30pm to 5:30pm with the 14 years and over players (including masters) playing eight-a-side from 5:45pm t 6:45pm.

The games are free and give a chance for all ages and skill levels to have a crack at playing cricket.

Enjoy a BBQ which is put on for all players and supporters each week and you can meet, watch and play with Western Fury players.

If you are interested in playing more serious cricket, you can sign up for Melville Cricket Club's other female teams or just enjoy the chance to be involved in social cricket.

Tompkins park is located on Canning Highway in Alfred Cove (next to the bowling club).
