Successful coaches will work directly with our junior players, parents, assistant coaches, and team managers maintaining a high level of interest, ownership, accountability and fairness. These individuals will bring with them a positive yet authoritative personality, who can quickly build a rapport with the playing group and parents through their actions and consistent approach and message.

Dedicated Specialist Skills Coaches and Senior Players from our club can be invited down if available and if you require, assisting you at times throughout the year to attend training sessions to provide specialist coaching as needed. This alignment with the junior and senior club is a valuable tool for the district coaches and provides a clear pathway for the junior players into our senior ranks.

The position will be remunerated for their efforts, and each coach will be fully assisted by the district subcommittee with recruiting willing parents and senior players to fill the roles of assistant coaches, scorers, and team managers. Further details will be discussed between you and the district subcommittee upon review of your application.

You are required to submit at least a 1 page cover letter outlining your experience in cricket and coaching, covering both strengths and weaknesses. An extra section covering your professional career outside of cricket is highly recommended also.

Finally, Claremont-Nedlands Cricket Club is an extremely successful Premier Grade club with over 700 playing members and an active and dedicated committee and board. Should you have any questions please contact myself, or you can also view our club on the MyCricket webpage for further information.

Club policy restricts the appointment of parent coaches, but parents are still able to apply and can be appointed on a ‘case by case’ scenario by board approval only, if no other suitably qualified independent candidates are put forward.

We look forward to your application.
