Arron Quartermaine has won his second consecutive Barry
Shepherd Medal, after another outstanding week for Upper Great Southern,
highlighted by a brilliant 91 in the final against Peel.
The top-order batsman smashed 277 runs for the tournament
including a ton against Broome in Round Two, while also taking 12 handy wickets
across the week.
The medal is selected by a panel of thee nominated by the
CCB, as they deliberate the player who has had the biggest impact on the
results of fixtures.
Quartermaine was pleased to win the medal for another
season, however was disappointed the side missed out on a victory.
"Pretty stoked to be honest,” he said.
