Summer comes early this year with the Commonwealth Bank Test against South Africa starting on 3 November at the WACA.
Perth is hosting the first Test of the summer for the first time since 2003, giving West Australian fans the chance to see the Australian team in action before anyone else, and with a large and passionate South African expat community in Perth the atmosphere at match is set to be electric.
There are few events in the Australian sporting calendar that evoke as much passion as Test cricket and the rivalry between Australia and South Africa is strong, with the visitors having claimed victory in the last series played between the team in Australia. South Africa will be looking to challenge Australia’s current #1 ICC Test Ranking as they return to Australia for the Commonwealth Bank Test Series.
Fans can enjoy their day at the cricket in comfort thanks to sunscreen dispensers and water bubblers located throughout the WACA or purchase a Platinum seat for the best chance of a shaded seat for the majority of the day.
South African fans can also choose to book tickets in the South African Fan Zone to sit with like-minded fans.
Tickets to the Commonwealth Bank Test are more affordable than ever, with adult tickets from $30, kids tickets from $10 and family tickets from just $65, making a day at the cricket even more appealing.
The Perth Commonwealth Bank Test runs from 3 November to 7 November. For more information about the Commonwealth Bank Test and to purchase tickets, visit cricket.com.au/tickets.
