Melville has bounced back to crush Subiaco Floreat by six wickets in a one-sided affair at Tompkins Park on Sunday, as Round Two of the Alcohol.Think Again Female 50-Over Competition concluded.

Renee Chappell was the difference against an out of sorts Subiaco Floreat, as she ripped through the top order to reduce the away team to 5-29.

Eventually, they were bowled out for 113, with Chappell taking figures of 5-14 from nine overs, including an incredible four maidens.

Melville skipper Niamh Walsh anchored the innings in response, scoring 32 from 57 balls.

Chappell then completed her all-round game; scoring 16 not out, as Melville finished at 4-114 in the 25th over.

South Perth secured their second straight win with a hard fought 39-run victory over Midland-Guildford at Richardson Park.

Caitlan Couch was impressive for Midland-Guildford with 32 not out, as her side chased 188.

Despite 28 from Sheldyn Cooper, Midland-Guildford could only reach 149 before being bowled out.

The Sky Blues remain undefeated and on top of the table after two rounds.
