The Perth Scorchers announce that Tuesday’s Rebel Women’s Big Bash League and KFC Big Bash League semi-final double-header at #TheFurnace has sold out.
Ticket allocations for the BBL match against the Melbourne Stars and WBBL clash against the Brisbane Heat were exhausted less than 24 hours after going on-sale to the general public yesterday at 1pm AWST.
The sell-out is the fifth-consecutive for the Scorchers in BBL|06 and has the Club on track for an all-time season attendance record.
Each Scorchers home match this season has attracted in excess of 20,000 fans, taking the current season attendance total to 82,267 and putting the Club on track to achieve a season attendance of more than 100,000 spectators for the first time.
The Club’s current season attendance record is 94,616, achieved in the Championship defence season of BBL|04.
Tuesday will mark the fifth time the Perth Scorchers have played the Melbourne Stars in the BBL semi-finals.
