Western Australian Cricket Association Umpires Manager Matthew Hall said: "Cricket Australia and the WACA are encouraging more females to become cricket umpires as part of the overarching vision that cricket is a sport for all.

"The historic moment of two female umpires officiating together for the first time, will encourage more females to take up officiating in cricket.”
