Nathan Coulter-Nile continued his good form in the Indian Premier League with more wickets as he continues his brilliant return from a long-term back problem.

Coulter-Nile has eight wickets from eight matches after taking 3-21 in a Player of the Match display for Kolkata Knight Riders against Royal Challengers Bangalore on Sunday.

The big quick was integral was KKR bowled out RCB for an IPL record low score of 49.

Coulter-Nile’s workload has been managed, left out of the side which travelled to play Rising Pune Supergiant on Wednesday.

He also took 2-41 in Kolkata’s clash on Friday with Gujarat Lions, who didn’t play Andrew Tye.

Tye’s absence was surprising after his dream debut, but he returned with 2-35 against Shaun Marsh’s Kings XI Punjab on Sunday.

The once-bearded fast bowler claimed Marsh’s wicket, with the top-order batsman making 30 from 24 balls.

Marsh made his first appearance of the IPL season earlier in the week, posting 26 from 21 balls against Mumbai Indians.

In the English County Championship Division Two, Cameron Bancroft could only manage five and 13 for Gloucestershire in their drawn four-day clash with Durham.
