Duffield was a bolter for the Warriors, bursting on the scene in the 2010-11 season by taking 33 wickets in the Sheffield Shield. A left-arm pace bowler who hails from Darkan, he came into the WACA system after playing for Gosnells and Melville before earning a Warriors rookie contract. After his breakthrough 2010-11, injuries curtailed Duffield's progress. The left-armer made his long-awaited return to the WA side in February 2013, claiming an impressive 13 wickets in two Shield games. Duffield drifted in and out of the side and was excluded from the squad in 2015-16, before re-gaining a contract after taking 40 wickets in the 2015-16 WA Premier Cricket season.
