Rimmington joined the Warriors ahead of the 2011-12 season, crossing from Queensland. The right-arm fast-medium bowler made an impact in the Big Bash when he took a hat-trick on New Year's Day 2007, finishing that season as the tournament's equal best wicket-taker. He made a big statement in the final of the 2008-09 Ford Ranger Cup with a Man of the Match 4-40 as Queensland triumphed. A series of injuries, including a serious hip problem, hampered him before he moved west, but he took 34 Sheffield Shield wickets in his first season with the Warriors as well as scoring a maiden first class ton against New South Wales. He has cemented his spot in WA's Sheffield Shield line-up during the 2014-15 season, having led the wicket-takers charts at the half-way mark.
