An aggressive off-spinner and batsman, Turner is one of a number of talented Western Australian youngsters. Turner remarkably made his first class debut for Australia in a tour match against Sussex during the 2013 Ashes. His next first class match was against the English in a tour match for the WA Chairman’s XI where made 62no ahead of the 2013-14 Ashes. The all-rounder made his WA debut in the RYOBI Cup in February 2013, belting a quickfire half-century against Tasmania, while he debuted at Bupa Sheffield Shield level in December 2013 against the Tigers. Turner previously was part of the Australian squad which reached the final of the 2012 ICC U-19 World Cup, taking 11 wickets through the tournament.
