Villani brings intimidating form to the west, having represented her country 23 times in the shortest form of the game and accruing 590 runs at an average of 31.05. The right-handed bat’s imposing high score of 90 not out was smashed against Pakistan in a significant knock that propelled Australia into the 2014 Women’s World Twenty20 semi-finals. It followed her naming as the domestic T20 Player of the Series for 2013-14 after leading all run-scorers for the season. After spending her entire domestic career in Victoria, Villani moved west ahead of the 2015-16 season. Her good form led to selection at the 2016 Women's World T20 in India where Australia were runners-up.
