Western Australian Veterans Cricket (WAVC) has a long-standing history of providing opportunities for both men and women players, and the supporters of veterans cricket.
WAVC representative teams are selected to compete annually in the men’s over 40’s, 50’s, 55’s, 60’s, 65’s, 70’s and women’s over 40’s National Championships. There are also and various a number of privately run touring events throughout the year.

Many players have also gone on to represent Australia in age group World Cups, Test matches and International Series events.

With the primary goal of providing maximum opportunities for people to participate in the game of cricket for as long as they wish. An additional goal is to promote the social, physical and mental health benefits of staying involved in cricket, over many years, as a player, club member, volunteer and/or official.
