Mooney decided to relocate to WA ahead of the 2022-23 season, with the Queensland product also representing the Perth Scorchers in the Women’s Big Bash League. An opening bat who has the perfect balance of power and touch, she produced the highest ever score by a Female cricketer for WA, striking 151 not out against the ACT Meteors. Mooney is one of the finest batters in Women’s international cricket, and her experience and leadership has been an asset to the playing group.
