WA Cricket’s High Performance programs are designed to provide the State’s aspiring cricketers with a clear pathway from grass roots to the elite level through the provision of progressive development opportunities within a high quality environment.

Male Cricket

The State representative pathway opportunities are:

  • State Under 17
  • State Under 19
  • Toyota Futures League
  • WA Men's State team - which includes the Marsh One-Day Cup and the historic Marsh Sheffield Shield competition.
  • Perth Scorchers - KFC T20 Big Bash League

Since entering the national competition in the middle of the last century, the Warriors have proved to be an outstanding success in both short and longer versions of the game, and in providing players for the national team. In the 2014-15 season, the Warriors were Sheffield Shield runners-up and Matador BBQs One-Day Cup champions.

The Perth Scorchers lifted the 2013-14, 2014-15 and 2016-17 Big Bash League titles and made the Finals of the two previous editions. The club has qualified for the 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015 Champions League Twenty20 competitions.
